Question 1

What can I do before I pay?

Accepted Answer

Create the workspace, add your contacts and people, and look around Mail before anything is live. If an outside agent sets it up for you, it can load preview mail that shows how work will arrive. A Parabel-hosted address is reserved for you, no card is asked for, nothing is sent to your contacts, and nothing converts to a paid subscription on its own. Email on your own domain and the agent's background work start when you go live.

Question 2

Does the price grow with the team?

Accepted Answer

No. The Workspace is one flat subscription with no seat fees: inviting teammates, importing mail and installing apps add nothing. No tax is added. The price is per workspace, so a second workspace is a second $20. The Terms let Parabel change its pricing with notice to you.

Question 3

What can the team ask the agent for?

Accepted Answer

Anyone you invite can ask it about their mail, contacts and files, and hand it work: replies to the people waiting, a broadcast, a list of contacts, a PDF, Word or Excel file. It sees only what the person asking can see. An owner or admin can also connect ChatGPT, Claude or Grok at no extra charge.

Question 4

Does the agent ever send without me?

Accepted Answer

What it prepares waits in Mail until you send it. Two things go out without a click on each message, and both start with you: an automation runs on the schedule you set, and in chat you can tell the agent to send the drafts it has written.

Question 5

Do I need to buy a domain from you?

Accepted Answer

No. Parabel doesn't register domains. Bring one you own, add the DNS records Parabel shows you, and your team sends and receives on it; if your DNS is on Cloudflare, Parabel adds the records for you. Two domains are included and two is the ceiling. The second is meant for broadcasts and automations, though it receives mail like the first. A domain belongs to one workspace only, and an owner or admin does the setup.

Question 6

Do I have to move my email?

Accepted Answer

No. Keep your current host and have copies of your mail arrive in Parabel: on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 an admin adds two mail rules, one for incoming and one for outgoing mail, and some other hosts can copy incoming mail only. Or bring every mailbox over from your old host. Sending from Parabel as your own address needs the domain verified.

Question 7

What happens if a payment fails or I cancel?

Accepted Answer

If a renewal fails, everything keeps working for seven days while you update the card. After that, live sending and syncing pause and your mail, contacts and files stay readable. Cancel anytime in Billing; your connected email and channels stop at the end of the period you have paid for. If your domain's mail points at Parabel, move it to your next provider first. You can export your data in any billing state, including after you cancel.

Question 8

Is our data used to train AI?

Accepted Answer

No. Your data and your contacts' data are never used to train AI models, and every record is scoped to your workspace. Work you hand the agent runs on a third-party hosted AI service in the United States; the Terms and the Privacy page have the details.
